Mary Island is one of the few state parks that's accessible only by water. The park comprises 12 wooded acres on the eastern point of Wellesley Island and offers great views of a popular US-to-Canada boat crossing. There are 12 sites scattered throughout the park, a picnic area and several foot trails.
This is a popular "getaway" park that's different than your typical camping experience. Boat rentals are available nearby. For information on boat rentals, contact the State Park office at 315-686-2522.
No reservations are necessary. The island has maintenance staff but no on-site patrol. Docks are on both the northern and southern sides.
